An Air Canada Flight Pass is a prepaid package of electronic one-way flight credits used for travel within a selected geographic zone during a specific period. A Flight Pass is comprised of fixed or unlimited number flight credits which can be managed online with ease. Flight Passes include all taxes, surcharges and fees with the exception of GST, QST. In the case of Air Canada, this is the price predictability promise you receive when you purchase the Pass. Flight passes are available on both an individual basis and for corporate use.

How long are my flight credits valid for?
The validity period of flight credits depends on the type of Flight Pass purchased. Please refer to the Flight Pass terms and conditions for more information.
Can I get a refund for unused flight credits?
No. Flight Passes are not refundable and no refund, in whole or in part, will be issued for unused or forfeited flight credits.
Can I change or cancel flight credit bookings?
Yes. Flight Pass booking changes or cancellations must be made at aircanada.com or through your travel agent. Fees may apply depending on the fare option purchased. Call Air Canada Reservations when flight changes are within one (1) hour of flight departure or outside travel agency hours. A fee may apply for calls made to Air Canada Reservations.
Can I book flight credits on other airlines?
No. Flight credits can be used only on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and most Air Canada regional partners with Air Canada flight numbers.
Can Flight Passes be shared by more than one user?
Some Flight Passes can be used by one traveller and others such as Sun Passes and Flight Pass for Business can be shared by more than one traveller. In each case, only designated travellers can use the pass as per the terms and conditions. For passes designed for one traveller, flight credits are non-transferable and can only be used by the designated traveller.
Can I manage my Flight Pass using my mobile device?
Yes. By accessing mobile.aircanada.com, you can view the number of unused flight credits, the list of designated travellers and the complete list of cities for each Flight Pass you own.
Can I book flight credits using my mobile device?
Yes. Use your mobile device by accessing mobile.aircanada.com to book flight credits up to two (2) hours prior to flight departure.
Can I purchase a Flight Pass for my child travelling as an unaccompanied minor?
Flight Passes can be purchased for children between 5 and 11 years of age and flight credits can be booked online for direct nonstop flights only. However, you will need to contact Air Canada Reservations at 1-888-247-2262 following every flight credit booking using the booking reference number to request our Unaccompanied Minor services; Air Canada Reservations will also assist your child with any subsequent changes or cancellation of the original booking.
Can I travel on a Flight Pass if I have special needs requiring any special services?
Flight Passes can be purchased for travellers requiring special needs or services and flight credits can be booked online. However, you will need to contact Air Canada Reservations at 1-888-247-2262 following every flight credit booking using the booking reference number to request special needs or services; Air Canada Reservations will also assist your with any subsequent changes or cancellation of the original booking.
Can I change the flight I booked using flight credits for an earlier or a later flight on the same day?
Same-day changes done at the airport, with an agent or using Web check-in or a self-service kiosk are subject to availability and fees may apply depending on the fare option purchased; the original flight must be cancelled. Same-day standby is permitted at no charge for Latitude fare bookings only.
Will I receive an Itinerary Receipt for flight credit bookings?
Yes, an electronic Itinerary Receipt detailing your flight reservation will be issued upon completion of flight credit bookings. Note: Itinerary Receipts do not provide an estimated value for each flight.
Can I get a receipt detailing travel costs related to a specific booking?
Purchase receipts are issued upon usage of flight credits. However, implied value of each flight credit may be calculated by dividing the total purchase price shown on the Purchase Receipt by the number of flight credits purchased. You can always access that information by clicking on the "Print Credit Value Statement" link located on the top of the "Flight Pass Booking" page. This page can be accessed by selecting the Flight Pass used and by clicking on the "View" button. The value shown is per flight credit.
Can I upgrade to Executive Class/Executive First using Upgrade Certificates?
An upgrade to Executive Class/Executive First is permitted when using an eligible Air Canada Top-Tier Certificate, as per the terms and conditions on the certificate.
